Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Computer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling computer systems, ensuring smooth operation, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and performance of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate and maintain computer hardware and software systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups and system updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer operations.
• Execute and monitor scheduled jobs and tasks within the system.
• Maintain logs and records of system performance, errors, and issues.
• Collaborate with IT and support teams to resolve technical problems.
• Ensure data integrity and security by following established protocols.
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist with software installations and updates.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in computer operations is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Computer Operator or similar role.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to provide clear instructions to non-technical users.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with database management and backup systems.
• Knowledge of scripting languages or automation tools.
• Certification in IT-related fields (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) is advantageous.
