Business Development Manager

Qualification:-  Bachelor’s degree or MBA / PGDM  higher in a relevant field, such as business administration, marketing, public relations, international relations, or social work. Experience in working with different organizations, groups, or stakeholders is also necessary, preferably in a similar role or context. Furthermore, knowledge of the policies, procedures, and culture of the entities you represent and work with is essential. Additionally, proficiency in the languages and tools used for communication and collaboration is required.

Required Candidate profile: The ideal one needs to have a proven record with the Govt. departments and should have handled projects for Pan India. Partnerships for supply towards various Govt. Requisitions, PSUs & Smart City Projects

Experience:- (5-7 years)

  • Experience working with PSU, government departments, UN sector in a similar management field.
  • Multi-task oriented. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ensure immediate flow of information with a high level of communication, negotiation, and excellent listening ability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and good network with different nongovernmental and governmental office
  • Good network with different none governmental and governmental offices and be computer literate
  • Commitment to and understanding of aims, values, and principles.

Role and Responsibilities:- 

  • Build and maintain relationships with key technical managers and decision-makers in the government, different ministries, and among local authorities. Acting as a key focal point.
  • Support the field managers in building governorate-level relationships and addressing any issues at that level.
  • Coordinate, arrange, and attend meetings with external authorities as required.
  • Collect and submit progress and other periodic reports and applications to relevant ministries or government department
  • Work with authorities to secure all required authorizations and permissions to ensure smooth program implementation.
  • Familiarize and keep up with all government requirements applicable to support programs, field management, and grants teams to ensure compliance. Maintain guidelines including all requirements, procedures, and processes.
  • Identify and share new business
  • Raising and following up on meeting requests when needed.
  • Maintain good archiving and documentation of all, reports, and letters, related to the governmental liaison
  • Prepare type letters and requests to authorities.
  • Update governmental liaison trackers
  • Carry out similar tasks assigned by the Senior Liaison Manager and/or other senior staff.

Job description

 

  • Tracking Performance across Key Business KPIs, feeding key data insights, and identifying Opportunities
  • Ensuring Smooth Operations while identifying opportunities for cost reduction on an ongoing basis
  • Partner with stakeholders within and across functions in driving business agenda and & implementation of strategy and identifying areas of opportunities.
  • Coordinating with Government departments for project and business opportunities ü Trend Spotting: Keeping a tap on Industry & Competition trends through market visits, interactions, conferences, and internal & external data insights; tracking demand/supply behaviors to develop success drivers for the category
  • Marketing Execution: Execute integrations with Stores to more efficient prices, execute promotions &assimilate vendor catalogs. Coordinating with the Marketing team to create marketing advertisement communications
  • Category Operations: Handling day-to-day operational aspects of the category, planning & forecasting of products to ensure the right assortment, the right pricing & promotion, and implementation of the right planogram for proper visibility.
  • Government Liaison:
  1. Cultivate relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies.
  2. Represent the company in discussions with government entities.
  • Approvals and Permits:
  • Coordinate with agencies to secure project approvals and permits.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate records of liaising activities.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Conflict Resolution:
  • Address conflicts during liaising processes.
  • Collaborate with legal advisors to manage risks.
  • Communication:
  • Act as a communication bridge between the company and the concerned officer.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external use.
