Position: CA Inter (Chartered Accountant Intermediate)
Location: Kanpur

Reports to: Senior Accountant/Finance Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CA Inter to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of financial statements, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and hands-on experience in various accounting and financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget preparation.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  2. Auditing and Compliance:
    • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
    • Review and ensure the accuracy of accounting records and transactions.
  3. Taxation:
    • Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, TDS, and income tax.
    • Assist in tax planning and ensure timely payment of taxes.
  4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
    • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
    • Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital.
  5. General Accounting:
    • Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
    • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Support the finance team in various accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • CA Inter qualification with completed articles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

  • Minimum of [X] years of relevant experience in accounting or finance (including article ship).
  • Experience in auditing and tax preparation is preferred.
