Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physics to join our senior secondary school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physics education to students of Classes XI and XII, preparing them for the CBSE board examinations, and nurturing a learning environment that encourages excellence in academics and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Physics to students of Classes XI and XII, following the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with the CBSE syllabus.
Use innovative teaching methodologies to make Physics concepts easier to understand.
Ensure lessons incorporate practical examples, experiments, and real-life applications of Physics principles.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a disciplined yet positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Address individual learning needs of students and offer extra support where required.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Design and administer tests, quizzes, and examinations as per CBSE norms.
Evaluate student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for board examinations, ensuring they understand the exam format and are well-practiced in solving past papers.
Co-Curricular Activities:
Encourage students to participate in science-related extracurricular activities, such as science fairs, quizzes, and debates.
Conduct and supervise Physics lab experiments, ensuring proper safety protocols.
Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate with parents and guardians about students progress, behavior, and overall development.
Collaborate with other subject teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.
Attend staff meetings, workshops, and continuous professional development programs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Physics from a recognized university.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Classes XI and XII).
Familiarity with CBSE syllabus and exam patterns.
Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in conducting Physics experiments and handling laboratory equipment.
Preferred:
Experience in preparing students for competitive exams like JEE, NEET, or Olympiads.
Strong knowledge of digital teaching tools and virtual classroom platforms.
